*Digital Storytelling is a great way to engage people in numerous subjects by combining pictures, text, voice, and music. This activity was given to us so that we could utilize this tool in the classroom from time to time: whether it be used for a concrete lesson or just to bring a book to life! It was probably also brought to our attention so that, as teachers, we would be famaliar with a program used by many of our students (power points are way too old school :P). After I finally figured out what I wanted to my story about (which is actually a poem I wrote), I really got into the whole assignment. I loved finding the pictures and song that would bring my poem to life. I loved watching the end product. However, the whole making-the-story part was a tad tedious (I get bored easily though, so no hard feelings!), and learning how to use iMovie was a little more difficult than I thought it would be. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable experience. Here it is! Hope you like. :)
